1. What’s the difference between a demo and

a live trading account?

Both live and demo accounts have the same capabilities in all online platforms. However, with a demo account you trade with virtual cash, and subsequently you have no capital at risk. Most importantly, the dealing rates presented on the demo platform are exactly the same as on the live platform, so you will be able to see the consistent rates and liquidity offered.

2. What is the minimum amount in order to open an account?

You can open a trading account at Global Market Invest with an initial deposit of $1,000 for IKON Platinum and Core Options platforms. For IKON Futures you can open a trading account at Global Market Invest with an initial deposit of $5,000.

3. What is the minimum transaction size per order?

At Global Market Invest, all transactions occur in increments of $10k and 100 ounces in precious metals. We do not distinguish between mini and standard accounts.

4. What is the maximum transaction size per order?

In all electronic platforms, the maximum size per order is $10m notional value. In case you would like to place a larger order than this, you must call our dealing desk and place the order by phone. Please keep in mind that your execution volumes are limited by your available trading margin.

5. How does Global Market Invest determine its prices?

Global Market Invest uses state-of-the-art proprietary technology to access many international financial institutions in order to provide clients with the most efficient and accurate pricing available in the market.

6. How do I open a Live account?

All clients are required to complete a full set of account forms in accordance with the trading account that they wish to open. All forms and instructions can be found in the “Open Account” section of the website. Please click here to go there now.

7. How will I receive the download and log-in information?

For demo accounts, you will receive your log-in credentials and download information a few moments after the registration has been completed. For live trading accounts, you will receive your log in credentials after your application has been approved and your funds have cleared.

8. How do I fund my account?

There are two ways to fund your account:

• Initiate a wire from your financial institution from your account.
• Send your initial acount amount via Credit card with Master Card or Visa logo on it.

9. When will my funds be posted to my account?

If you send a wire transfer, please allow 1-2 days for the funds to clear. If you submit a check, please allow 3-6 days in order for your check to be cleared.

10. What are your trading hours?

Our trading hours are from 5 p.m. EST Sunday, until 5 p.m. EST Friday with no exception other than the official holidays when local markets are closed.

11. Can I place orders over the phone?

Yes, you can place trades over the phone by contacting our dealing desk at +1-866-349-8532 and +1-212-482-8270 (after hours).

12. Can I place a trade via email?

No, we do not allow our customers to place trades via email. In the case of an emergency, you may place trades over the phone.

13. Do I need a broadband Internet connection to

trade with Global Market Invest?

No, this is not required. A dial-up connection will be sufficient if you don’t have access to a broadband Internet service.

14. Can I trade with Global Market Invest if I am not

using my home computer?

You can trade through our online products via any computer where the platform you use is installed.

15. Can I use all Online Platforms

on my Apple Macintosh computer?

All Online Platforms are not compatible with the Apple Macintosh operating system.

16. What are the minimum system requirements for

running the Online Platforms?

Below listed are the minimum and recommended system requirements for all online products.

Minimum System Requirements:

• Processor: 733 MHz for x86-based CPU
• Memory (RAM): 256 MB
• Hard Disk Space: 30 MB
• Display: 1024x768 resolution with high or true color support
• Internet Access: At least 28.8 Kbps of connection speed

Recommended System:

• Processor: 2000 MHz for x86-based CPU
• Memory (RAM): 512 MB
• Hard Disk Space: 50 MB
• Display: 1024x768 resolution with high or true color support

Minimum Software Requirements:
